Location: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support.

The Financial/Accounting Operations Technician is responsible for performing diverse operational financial and policy activities of a less routine nature. Responsible for maintaining compliance activity, exceptional customer service and data processing and balancing.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Receives, validates and enters information into Finance systems.
- Audits documentation for accuracy.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Resolves more routine issues or questions.
- Reconciles various system outputs and receives and processes special requests.
- Receive and manage all incoming checks, including date stamping and accurate coding with the respective client’s name.
- Categorize checks into appropriate groups for processing.
- Enter all financial data into the Smart Sheet inventory tracker with precision to ensure updated records.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.
- Match invoices to corresponding checks efficiently to ensure accurate financial reconciliation.
- Prepare and mail all outgoing checks in a timely manner.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks and miscellaneous duties as needed to support the finance department.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires H.S. Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience; or any combination of education and experience, which provides an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- AA Degree in accounting preferred.
- Basic Accounting and General Ledger experience preferred.
- Proven experience in financial operations or related field.
- Proficiency in data entry and using tracking systems, experience with Smart Sheet is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures.
