Global Business Resilience - Continuity and Resilience Manager  

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.   Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Atlanta, GA or Richmond, VA. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Global Business Resilience - Continuity and Resilience Manager is responsible for developing and administering an enterprise-wide business continuity program focusing on Elevance Health’s third-party suppliers’ resilience and readiness, that allows for continued business operations and service in the event of a disaster.

How you will make an impact: 

  • Develops and implements strategies as set by senior management across the enterprise.

  • Serves as primary management point of contact for global issues related to enterprise business continuity and Elevance Health’s third-party suppliers’ business continuity.

  • Serves as resource and subject matter expert for issues relating to continuity of business operations.

  • Leads strategic planning with business units in developing response and recovery plans, as needed.

  • Manages implementation and revision of enterprise external release business continuity plans.

  • Conducts audits and integrated tests of Elevance Health’s enterprise and third-party supplier plans.

  • Makes recommendations to increase efficacy.

  • Coordinates training and education of and serves on the corporate crisis management team, as needed.

  • Works collaboratively with internal shared services departments in integrating enterprise and third-party suppliers plans to support business continuity.

Minimum Requirements: 

Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience across multiple operations areas; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: 

  • Excellent communication skills to influence management, resolve conflict, collaborate with internal and external partners, and conduct training and education highly preferred.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills highly preferred.
