Information Security Co-Op Intern, 2026
Location: Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. An Information Security Co-Op Intern will be performing operational tasks supporting multiple security domains. This Co-Op program offers 2-5 rotations in different specialties including vulnerability management, application security, cloud security, Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC), IT controls compliance, encryption, security policy, and more!
This Information Security Co-Op Internship is a 1-year program with a Spring and Summer cohort. Both cohorts are an opportunity for the selected candidates to engage with key deliverables and showcase their critical thinking skills and creativity while gaining experience and working knowledge of Information Security within a Fortune 100 company.
The Spring cohort is slated to start in January 2026, and the Summer cohort is slated to start in May 2026.

Examples of functions for this role:
Vulnerability Management: Pre-production vulnerability scanning on servers, databases, and network devices to validate security prior to going live in production
CSOC: Evaluate and respond to potential security events that have been detected by our Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM) tools
Application Security: Utilize multiple industry tools to inspect pre-production code for internally developed applications to identify potential vulnerabilities for mitigation or remediation
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week up to 40 hour per week available (Mon - Fri between 8 AM - 6 PM Eastern)
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Science, or related degree program at an accredited college/university
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Candidates pursuing their bachelor’s degrees are preferred
Solid grasp of technical issues within both business and IT
Knowledge and/or experience with security tools and concepts, programming languages, malware, threats and defense, cryptography, application security assessment
Experience applying analytical, problem solving, written and oral communication skills in a diverse, high productivity, learning environment
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership ability (ex: on-campus leadership, extracurricular activities, volunteer work, etc.)
Interest in the healthcare industry
