Information Security Senior Advisor- Lead SailPoint Developer
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Costa Mesa, CA, Indianapolis, IN, St. Louis, MO or Atlanta, GA. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Information Security Senior Advisor- Lead SailPoint Developer will work closely and partner with multiple separate groups to increase automation within the identity space. Will execute and automate Identity provisioning and deprovisioning processes quickly, accurately, and securely. Develops, recommends, and implements enterprise information security policies, technical standards, guidelines, procedures, and other elements of an infrastructure necessary to support information security in compliance with established company policies, regulatory requirements, and generally accepted information security controls.
How you will make an impact:
Support a containerized IdentityIQ Deployment in AWS from development environments through production environments utilizing IAM best practices.
Mentor and consult with peers and customers.
Configure systems and application monitoring, defining alerts and building appropriate dashboards and documentation.
Integrate security tools, standards and processes into the Software Development Life Cycle across on-premises and cloud applications.
Create new standards and best practices to increase effectiveness of provisioning and deprovisioning across a diverse environment.
Write and deploy code for SailPoint IdentityIQ our automated Identity Management system and support and develop towards our internal SLAs (Service Level Agreements) to deliver automated Identity and Access Management provisioning solutions.
Deliver outcomes through agile software delivery.
Provide solutions to our customers in an effective and efficient manner.
Write documentation encompassing the configurations around any code developed including but not limited to troubleshooting, decommissioning, and other applicable facets.
Automate provisioning and integration as part of mergers and acquisitions.
Hands on design, development and documentation of application integration.
Lead development and execution of risk assessment methodologies, and design and implement solutions to fit business, regulatory, and technical environment considerations.
Lead the development of requirements, system architecture, and software design of security products and services.
Manage automated solutions as a focus at the enterprise grade and also focus on a consistent user experience leveraging SailPoint OOTB design where applicable with limited use of complex customization that will require maintenance.
Provide trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems.
Create presentations and seeks IT management approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major security systems serving the Enterprise.
Help set vendor strategy and direction.
Design and engineer comprehensive access management and identity security solutions based on business requirements and defined technology standards; works with architecture to update technology direction and strategy.
Develop reports supporting strategy and direction for management.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires BS/BA in information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years of experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, data, and people; experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required; requires broad-based experience to plan and design highly complex systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Proficient with a variety of Software development / scripting languages such Java highly preferred.
Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies with integrated CI/CD automation highly preferred.
5+ years working with Active Directory highly preferred.
5+ years working with SailPoint IdentityIQ highly preferred.
5+ years working with Okta highly preferred.
5+ years cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) highly preferred.
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts highly preferred.
Demonstrated understanding and experience with Identity and Access Management systems and teams highly preferred.
Familiarity with IT control processes around risk and compliance highly preferred.
Proven track record of automating and launching products within Identity and Access Management highly preferred.
Familiarity with Security domain concepts such as SAML, OAUTH, OIDC, LDAP, SSO, ADFS, and Federation flow preferred.
Experience with Privileged Access solutions such as CyberArk and HashiCorp preferred.
Experience managing delivery full-stack technical solutions preferred.
Exposure to agile product management including the ability to set vision, establish a roadmap, set goals, write user stories and execute preferred.
Effectively lead or collaborate with cross-functional resources to manage and resolve interdependencies preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment preferred.
Security Certifications: CISSP and other advanced technical security certifications (e.g. Information Systems Security Architecture Professional, Information Security Engineering Professional, Certification and Accreditation Professional, or equivalent certifications) preferred.
SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer or similar SailPoint professional certifications preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $144,164.00 to $216,246.00
