Infrastructure Services Engineer Executive Advisor
Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 13550 Triton Park Blvd., Louisville, KY 40223
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Infrastructure Services Engineer Executive Advisor will review detailed business and technical requirements to recommend technical solutions.
How you will make an impact:
- Work with procurement, legal, and standards governance to receive approval and funding.
- Research, design, test, and evaluate new cloud technologies, platforms, and strategic partner products and services.
- Develop complex solutions from business requirements and architectural specifications; provide input to set or amend architectural specifications.
- Create presentations and seek IT managements approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major business systems serving the enterprise.
- Participate in the design of the enterprise architecture.
- Provide advanced level engineering design functions.
- Code and maintain complex components of information systems.
- Direct the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture).
- Propose opportunities to improve results based on targeted or continuous assessment.
- Leverage cloud native and third-party tools to troubleshoot complex application issues.
- Review test cases and test results and apply code changes to resolve issues.
- Participate in enterprise planning activity, including vendor assessment, technology platform selection and retirement, prioritization and integration; routinely act as a subject matter expert for executive management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field of study.
- Ten (10) years of Information Technology (IT) experience, or related.
- Ten (10) years of required Information Technology (IT) experience, or related must include: Infrastructure as code development; Terraform module development; Terraform Enterprise or Terraform Cloud; Git; CI/CD Pipeline creation; Kubernetes; Azure; AWS; Bash, or PowerShell, or Python.
Required Certifications:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certificate
