The Intake Specialist is responsible for performing routine duties to handle incoming G&A submissions and inquiries to route to appropriate G&A Analyst teams, while adhering to compliance and regulated turnaround time standards.

Location: 370 Northlake Blvd, Altamonte Springs, FL

Hybrid 2: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Schedule: The shifts available for this position are 12:00pm - 9:00pm, and 1:00pm to 10:00pm. Additional hours or days may be required based on operational needs.

How you will make an impact:

  • Receiving member or provider requests by mail or fax.  

  • Reviewing and verifying content for accuracy.  

  • Entering key information or missing data into system.  

  • Routing file/submission to appropriate party within designated turnaround times.  

  • Data Entry experience along with experience in operating basic office equipment, fax machine, copier, PC and basic software applications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires HS diploma or GED, and a minimum of 2 years related work experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

  • Data entry experience (2 years of work related experience) preferred.

  • Basic software application preferred.

  • Ability to type 50+ wpm preferred.
