Manager Financial Accounting Reporting Analysis - FHPS
Locations: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Indianapolis, IN or Mason, OH Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Manager Financial Accounting Reporting Analysis is responsible for managing accounting and project teams. Responsible for day-to-day month-close and quarter-end accounting, reporting, and analysis functions
How you will make an impact:
- Reviews journal entries and reconciliation, monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis, and complex and comprehensive analysis of financial results.
- Prepares and presents financial reporting and analysis to senior leadership.
- Manages SOX and other internal controls.
- Coordinates and leads critical and complex projects. Prepares internal management reporting and manages internal and external audits.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business and minimum of 8 years progressively more responsible experience in a Controller or senior financial management position with a medium to large insurance company; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Previous experience working in an accounting or finance role within a large corporate organization preferred.
- People leadership experience preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft and Microsoft Excel preferred
- Previous work experience with month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and federal government contracting accounting principles preferred.
- CPA, CFM or CMA designation preferred.
- MBA or Masters in Accounting preferred.
