Manager I GBD Special Programs – LTSS

Office Locations: This role is based in Florida at either our Tampa or Miami PulsePoint offices.

In-Office Expectations: Hybrid 2; This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

The Manager I GBD Special Programs is responsible for managing and overseeing the team responsible for coordination of a comprehensive health care program in which members’ needs are identified, including physical health, behavioral health, social services for a special product/program such as long-term service and supports (LTSS), Foster Care, Intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), HIV/Aids etc.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages resource utilization to ensure appropriate delivery of care to members, adequate coverage for all tasks and job responsibilities.

  • Coordinates service delivery to include member assessment of physical and psychological factors.

  • Participates in cross-functional workgroups created to maintain and develop programs.

  • Evaluates current processes of Special Program's support functions.

  • Recommends changes for increased efficiencies to improve outcomes.

  • Develops and conducts training programs for staff involved in the program.

  • Extracts and manipulates analytical data and presents the findings to relevant markets and stakeholders.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field, including minimum of 1 year leadership/management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Service delivery coordination, discharge planning or behavioral health experience in a managed care setting strongly preferred.

  • RN, LSW, LPC, or LPN/LVN license preferred.

  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to change.

  • Bilingual - Spanish strongly preferred.
