Manager Pharmacy Clinical Ops

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.

The Manager Pharmacy Clinical Ops is responsible for developing and implementing clinical pharmacy programs to promote quality and cost-effective drug utilization.

How you will make an Impact:

  • Assists in the development of new clinical products.
  • Manages clinical pharmacy operations and staff to ensure clients' objectives and deliverables are met.
  • Oversees departmental processes, policies and procedures, training, and communication.
  • Reports and analyzes Medicare Stars program trends and performances.
  • Ensures achievement of department goals and objectives.
  • Improve Medicare Stars rating by impacting Adherence, MTM, SUPD, Poly ACH, and COB programs

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy or a PharmD and minimum of 5 years of experience in managed care, authorization, or related pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Must possess an active, current and valid unrestricted state license (Rph) to practice pharmacy within the scope of practice in a state or territory of the United States.
  • Unless expressly allowed by state or federal law, or regulation, must be located in a state or territory of the United States when conducting utilization review or an appeals consideration and cannot be located on a US military base, vessel or any embassy located in or outside of the United States.
  • For URAC accredited areas, the following professional competencies apply: Associates in this role are expected to have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Medicare STARS rating experience highly preferred.
  • Management experience or experience leading a team highly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $140,760 to $220,320. 

 

Locations:  District of Columbia (Washington, DC), New York
