Medical Records Clerk 

Location: Hybrid 1: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2  days per week in our Atlanta, Georgia office, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm EST.

The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for maintaining patient files, responds to requests for medical records and performs clerical activities in support of the medical records department.

How will you make an impact:

  • Protect the security and integrity of medical records to ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained in compliance with company policies and federal, state and local regulations
  • Maintains patient files and retrieves files for scheduled appointments
  • Responds to requests for medical records; processes letters and report

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a HS Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Qualifications: 

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
