Care Center Registered Nurse
Location: Aibonito, Puerto Rico. This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support.

Schedule: This role requires full availability to work rotating shifts between operational hours from Monday to Sunday 6:00 am - 11:00 pm including weekends and holidays.
The Care Center Registered Nurse will provide nursing services for patient care in the company, working closely with doctors, specialists, and other care team members or providers to obtain the highest quality of care within Diagnostic and Treatment Center (CDT) or Multispecialty Clinics.
How you will make an impact:
- Under medical supervision, assist physicians in the delivery of healthcare services.
- Responsible for collecting patient information from the entrance, supporting patient evaluation, and administering treatments, medications, tests, exams, or education as needed.
- Collaboration with physicians at the clinic and other healthcare professionals is also required.
- Assist patients in completing medical history forms and prepare them for examination and treatment by the physician.
- Perform triage by asking patients questions about current symptoms, medical histories, and medications to provide doctors with a complete understanding of a patient’s current medical needs and background.
- Identify the patient’s chief complaint and record pertinent information in the patient’s permanent medical record.
- Identify gaps in care and provide education to the patient and caregiver on the importance of closing the gaps.
- Conduct preliminary tests such as blood pressure and respiratory checks, vital signs, measurements such as height and weight, and record them in the EMH – structured data.
- Conduct tests and procedures as directed, such as EKGs, non-stress tests, spirometry, venipuncture, skin punctures, strep screens, glucometer, and urine tests.
- Assist doctors in developing treatment plans and strategies based on screenings and assessments, including clinical procedures, preventive care, referrals, and care coordination.
- Discuss treatment plans with the multidisciplinary care team as applicable.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications or treatments as ordered by the physician.
- This may include changing the dressing on a wound, applying vaccines and topical treatments, or administering medication via intravenous methods or direct injection.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires BS Nursing and a minimum of 3 years related medical experience and/or emergency room experience required; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Requires a valid, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Puerto Rico.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
- Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS) required.
- EKG certification required.
- For associates working within Puerto Rico who are members or patient facing either in a clinical setting or in the Best Transportation unit, a current PR health certificate and a current PR Law 300 certificate are required for this position.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Registered at the Colegio de Profesionales de Enfermería de Puerto Rico preferred.
