Product Manager Sr.

Location: Must be within 50 miles of the Pulsepoints indicated. Position has both office/remote expectations.

The Product Manager Sr. is responsible for the development of products in both new and existing markets. This position will partner with leaders in local markets and product management directors to assess our competitive and strategic positioning, evaluate new opportunities, and ensure that our portfolios, packages and buy-up programs are competitive and supporting our goals for growth and profitability. In addition, this role will support our Plan it QA process and LG applications.

How you will make an impact:

  • Measure, monitor and refine portfolio strategies to optimize product performance and achievement of expected results. 
  • Engage with the local sales teams to develop and drive our product strategy and to support client-specific product solutions. 
  • Evaluates existing products and competitor and industry data to improve existing products and make recommendations for new products.
  • Develops and implements long term profitability strategies for market segment including market positioning, new product design pricing parameters, risk profiles, and legislative/regulatory responses.
  • Coordinates presentation, communication and implementation of all phases of product development.
  • Ensures all products are compliant with regulatory directives and state/federal laws and policies.
  • Serves as a product expert and a relationship manager to the core clients.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • MBA preferred.
  • Health or managed care experience preferred.
  • Medical/Pharmacy product experience preferred
  • Healthcare group product portfolio management preferred
  • Experience with Plan it and/or LG applications is preferred.
