Program Management Intern, Part–Time Fall 2025
Location: Wallingford, CT, Miami, FL, or Des Moines, IA. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.
This internship is a part of our Fall Enterprise Internship program that will be part-time (20+ hours per week) and will run from September 15th, 2025 – December 12th, 2025. This internship requires the selected candidate to be in-office at least once per week.
This Program Management Intern will be responsible for developing a program built around dual-eligible members. This role provides an exciting opportunity to learn about the intricacies of the healthcare industry, federal and state regulatory requirements, enrollment rules, and what dual-eligible members experience navigating both state and federal enrollment, while utilizing and gaining knowledge to develop process-oriented desktop procedures, collateral development, and building project management skills.
How you will make an impact:
- Partner with the team and enterprise growth partners to develop a whole program built around default enrollment and dual-eligible members
- Learn about the rules and regulations of default enrollment to develop desktop procedures and collateral in coherence to CMS and HPMS
- Develop a complaint scope of work for subsequent projects developed for the default enrollment program
Minimum Requirements:
- Pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Business Strategy, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related degree at an accredited college or university
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for the duration of the internship, with one day per week onsite at an eligible PulsePoint location
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Previous Healthcare experience is preferred
- Customer-focused or members-focused experience is greatly preferred
- Experience in the use of MS Office suite
