Sales Account Coordinator

Location: This is a field based role and the ideal candidate will reside within the San Antonio, Texas metroplex.

The Sales Account Coordinator  is responsible for partnering with account executives to grow a selection of accounts and assisting with strategic accounts as the customer service liaison supporting sales efforts.  

How you will make an impact:

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Partners with assigned sales representative(s) to achieve sales or retention goals.
  • Works to ensure administration of contractual requirements and obligations.
  • Attends and participates in sales meetings, training programs, and in-services.
  • Maintains ongoing account relationships at multiple levels throughout the customers' organizations.
  • Makes recommendations for improvements to meet customers' expectations.
  • Provides both on-site and off-site representation to the customers which include physician specialties, urgent care, infusion clinics, and some hospitals., connecting clinical ops, and focused on referral pull through and referral source satisfaction.  
  • Initiates and participates in referral process with physicians, and other referral sources.  
  • Collects information on new referrals and existing patients to report detailed updates on accounts.  
  • Monitors intake process and new orders for assigned accounts with a balanced emphasis on driving profitable referrals and maintaining client and/or referral source satisfaction.
  • Completes and submits sales reports to regional leadership.  
  • Participates in targeting, prioritizing relevant opportunities.  
  • Assists as the sales liaison for non-profit, industry and marketing events.  

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma or a GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Strongly prefer a minimum of 2 years related experience in healthcare.
