740 W Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Senior Configuration Engineer participates in the development and maintenance of Enterprise-wide technology platforms, pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
How you will make an impact:
Maintains alignment with internal stakeholders, product development, business, and other enterprise teams to determine devops and infrastructure technical requirements for automation and infrastructure.
Responsible to develop CICD automation pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and conduct deployments to the Production environment, where Elevance’s business and end users operate.
Participates in release and deployment change processes and will coordinate with other teams as necessary.
Develops and defines cloud infrastructure and pipelines in line with technical and/or functional specifications being written.
Performs technical reviews and architectural reviews with the application development teams.
Participates and delivers on-call support with system monitoring process.
Maintains various technical environments in PREPROD and PROD and works on the Enterprise team.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
Additional Requirements:
Four (4) years in any occupation with experience in multi-platform, multi-dimensional experience, or related experience.
Four (4) years in any occupation with experience in multi-platform, multi-dimensional experience, or related experience must include:
Two (2) years of Experience with Agile methodology and Release management process.
Two (2) years of Experience working in Docker or OpenShift 4 or EKS.
Two (2) years of Experience supporting Java and/or .NET-based applications from development through operation.
Two (2) years of Understanding of webservice and event-based application design patterns.
Two (2) years of Experience with cloud networking, load balancing, identity policy management, firewalls, etc.
Two (2) years of Experience with Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket, Bamboo) for pipeline configuration and CI/CD automation.
Two (2) years of Experience with Kubernetes or ECS or Redhat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) based container services.
Two (2) years of Experience with EC2, AMI’s and related app/web server configuration.
Two (2) years of Experience with Kubectl and HELM chart-based deployments.
Alternate Education/Experience Requirements:
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related and two (2) years in any occupation with experience in multi-platform, multi-dimensional experience, or related experience.
SALARY: $150,457 per year
