Senior Product Analytics & Applied AI Consultant
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. We are seeking a Senior Product Analytics & Applied AI Consultant (Advanced Analytics Consultant Senior) to lead the development of advanced analytics and AI-driven insights that shape product strategy, financial performance, and member outcomes. The Senior Product Analytics & Applied AI Consultant creates statistical models to predict, classify, quantify, and/or forecast business metrics with a focus on product performance, ROI measurement, and a leading indicator development.
This role sits at the intersection of product analytics, and applied AI. Leveraging modern data platforms, APIs, and automation to deliver scalable, real-time insights that inform product strategy and financial outcomes for the business and employers.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Pioneer next‑frontier analytics and AI (e.g., agentic/LLM‑enabled workflows and real‑time modeling) to reimagine traditional statistical approaches into adaptive decision intelligence that measurably improves product ROI, cost, quality, utilization, and member outcomes
- Prepares analytical data sets in support of modeling studies and product performance evaluation across clinical, operational, and financial dimensions.
- Build, test, and validate statistical models and predictive frameworks to assess product ROI, financial impact and utilization trends.
- Develop and implement innovative algorithms and predictive frameworks to improve cost, quality, and member outcomes.
- Partner with product and business leaders to translate data into strategic recommendations and investment decisions
- Owns data quality and model performance.
- Continuously improves analytical methodologies and predictive modeling algorithms.
- Collaborates with business partners to identify key population segments and uncover patterns across cost, quality, and utilization to inform targeted strategies.
- Leverage AI/ML models and API-enabled tools to automate insight generation, enhance forecasting accuracy and scale analytic workflows.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires Doctoral degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology or equivalent training and mastery and a minimum of 10 years experience in related health care analytics; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, & Experiences:
- Advanced expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning using tools such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Teradata, SQL, SQL Server, or equivalent cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
- Experience building analytics solutions in cloud-based data environments.
- Proven ability to design robust analytical datasets and address data quality challenges to support predictive analytics, product performance measurement, and ROI evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing the design, development, and continuous improvement of complex healthcare data systems, tools, and reports strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to present meaningful results to a business audience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into business insights
- Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Understanding of the commercial health care market cost drivers, and member experience.
- Experience applying AI/ML and APIs to automate insights and support decision-making.
