Systems Analyst Advisor

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 5800 Northampton Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Systems Analyst Advisor will be responsible for defining and managing the scope of Business Systems projects

How you will make an impact

  • Manage integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements for all Pega-based applications.
  • Provide the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.
  • Ensure high-level designs meet standards for Pega platform and user stories are appropriately documented.
  • Utilize iterative development and delivery processes, including Agile/Scrum practices in a SAFe environment.
  • Review and analyze data from various disparate data sources to draw conclusions, recommend solutions, and draft technical user stories.
  • Decompose new projects into Features and design Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Rules Engines (BRE) for applications using PegaSystems' Pega Rules Process Commander.
  • Define acceptance criteria of all program level features and support scrum teams as they consume feature details.
  • Define the design components of new features to ensure solution consistency for the suite of Pega applications.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field of study.
  • Six (6) years of experience in related occupation(s).
  • Six (6) years of required Information Technology (IT), or related experience must include:
  • Three (3) years of experience in each of the following:
  • Analyzing data for applications built on PEGA with CRM and healthcare platforms.
  • Working with API designing team to develop data structure and formatting by reviewing Swaggers.
  • Database querying to triage issues, identify test data, and support analytical processes.
  • Defining specification of new data queries.
  • Overseeing high level designs and user story documentation in tools including JIRA and Confluence.
  • Analyzing SOAP and REST API services.
  • Overseeing Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Coaching and mentoring development and scrum teams.
  • Database concepts.
  • SQL.
  • Oracle databases.
