Associates are required to live within a 50-mile radius and a 1-hour commute to one of our Elevance Health major office (PulsePoint) locations, preferably one of the PulsePoint locations listed above. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.

In-Office Expectation: This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and 1-2 days physically in office per week.

The Vendor Operations Management Consultant is responsible for managing relationships with multiple vendors to ensure business goals are achieved for an enterprise function.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages the day-to-day execution of vendor agreements to ensure compliance, monitor quality, and when necessary, develop corrective action plans.

  • Reconciles vendor invoices.

  • May participate in fact-based negotiations of agreements and/or participate or lead cross-functional teams to implement vendor services.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in business or related field required; 5 - 7 years of increasingly responsible professional level contract management/vendor management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Healthcare experience needed.

  • Medicare knowledge strongly preferred.

  • Ability to perform data analysis to identify trends and outliers.

  • Project and Program management skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

  • Effectiveness within highly matrixed organization.

  • Possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision of their work.
