Wellness Center Administrator

Location: This position is a Field based (5 days per week in-person with patients, members or providers) PR-CAROLINA, 10000 AVE.65 INFANTERIA.

Schedule: This position will work full-time. Monday thru Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The Wellness Center Administrator responsible for supporting the overall direction and development of health and wellness programs for members of the Wellness Center.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Implements wellness programs. Ensures that Center staff follows policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Strives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Submits invoices and inventory reports in a timely manner.
  • Ensures a safe and clean facility by checking equipment, addressing and correcting malfunctions and maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies.
  • Identifies and resolves possible critical situations and coordinates services offered at the wellness center.
  • Tracks member participation and uses results to assist in the development of programs designed to increase participation.
  • Documents maintenance and equipment problems.
  • Performs physical inspections of all areas to determine maintenance needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare environment and customer relations experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association required.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish).
  • Experience with electronic health record software .
